Washed Out - Tour CD-R
A bunch of unreleased material compiled onto a tour CD. It's nothing special but it's interesting to hear how far his sound has come.

Dth - I Hope I Can Feel Something Like That One Day
This was given to us via newfound friend of TLTF, Devin of Dth- he makes experimental sound collages. Dth samples everything from home videos to presidential speeches. The clips are sporadic and choppy, yet done in such a way that is flows with the background ambience and sometimes guitar noodling. Support independent artists, download this album and spread the word!

Infinite Body - Carve Out the Face of My God
This doesn't play like your typical drone album. Instead of long, gradual soundscapes, Carve Out is composed of shorter installments ranging from about one to seven minutes long- this means more variety. Infinite Body a.k.a Kyle Parker should certainly be regarded as one of the more accessible artists of his genre. His is ability to take the droney, affected synth loops and sounds similar to veterans like Oneohtrix Point Never and Caboladies, then use them to create terse, well-structured yet provocative movements is indicative of this.

Rangers - Suburban Tours
Rangers (Joe Knight) uses recycled 80s samples and pop culture sound-bytes to create a unique brand of hazy, new age nostalgiascapes. Listening to Knight's dreamy collages is like exploring an empty shopping mall, circa 1985, as seen through the bloodshot, Wayfayer-clad eyes of a coked-out club goer. Just let the drone of that jazz-fusion Muzak take hold and wait for the hum of the neon Orange Julius sign to satisfy your soul, baby. For fans of Lamborghini Crystal and Matrix Metals.
